Privacy Policy

Flow Gadgets (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2023/690233/07, trading as "Flow Gadgets Store") is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). If you have any questions about this policy or about how your information is handled, you can contact us at support@flowgadgets.co.za.

What we collect

When you browse our store or place an order, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order history. This information is used to process and deliver your order and to provide customer support.

We do not collect or store your card or banking details. All payments are processed securely by our payment partner, PayFast, on their own PCI-compliant infrastructure. Flow Gadgets never sees or stores your full card number, expiry date, or CVV.

Why we process your information

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary to fulfil your order. Your delivery details are shared with our fulfilment supplier solely so that your order can be shipped to you. Your payment is processed directly by PayFast, who receive only the information required to complete the transaction. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

How long we keep your information

We retain order and customer records for five (5) years from the date of your last order, in line with South African tax and accounting record-keeping requirements. After this period, records are securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct any inaccurate information, and to request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@flowgadgets.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you are unsatisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa), the body responsible for enforcing POPIA, in addition to (or instead of) contacting us directly.
